- Bachelor of Science in BioVeterinary Science from Utah State University in 1990.
- Grew up in Redmond, Utah. I spent most of my time on my grandpa's farm raising cattle, sheep and crops.
- My wife Leslie grew up in Sandy, Utah. I met her at USU
- We have four children: Brooke, Dawson, Levi, and Megan.
- We moved from Moab to Emery County in October 1997
